Late summer events - Finals Day / American Tournament / Quiz

Club Finals Day - Sunday 7th September

Join us for one of the biggest celebrations of the year at the club. Some great matches expected with our top players and of course a sizzling BBQ from 12.30pm and the bar open all day. Juniors start at 9am and Adult matches from 11am. It's the perfect day to enjoy great tennis, great food and great company.

American Tournament Saturday 4th October
By popular demand, we are excited to announce the 8th edition of the American Tennis Tournament, and the 2nd edition this year!
Date: 4th October
Start Time: 1:00 PM
Participants: 24 players (places already filling fast)
Format:

Players are paired up and spin for serve and ends.
After 4 games, partners swap sides to play against each other.
Players score between 0 and 8 points, then report their score and rest until round 2.

Quiz night and Fish and Chip supper - 10th October

The ever popular club quiz night will be on Friday 10th October at 7pm. Teams of six to Jan Taylor at janetgoose@aol.com. Jan can perhaps team up individuals or smaller groups so please just register your place soon to avoid disappointment. Bar will be open. Fish and Chips supper, entry and winner's prize is (to be confirmed) roughly a £tenner.
